Hyderabad: Actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra will be seen romancing each other in the upcoming film Shershaah. Their romance off the screen has added oodles of excitement around fans to see them together on the screen. While they are yet to drop the "good-friends" tag, Kiara gushed about her rumoured beau while describing how he is as a co-star and friend.

Kiara and Sidharth are busy promoting Shershaah as the release is only days away. During a promotional interview, Kiara was asked about her equation with Sidharth on and off the screen. When asked how she would describe Sidharth as a co-star and as a friend, Kiara couldn't stop gushing about the charming actor.

"As a co-star, Sidharth is extremely driven and focused. He loves to prep a lot and does a lot of readings. That’s very similar to the way I like to work on a film. So, in that sense, we got along very well. As a friend, I’d say he is one of my closest friends in the industry. I think, even as a friend, he’s full of life and always fun to be around, " said Kiara.

In the film directed by Vishnu Vardhan, Sidharth Malhotra portrays Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) while Kiara will be seen playing his fiance, Dimple Cheema. The film is releasing on August 12, on Amazon Prime Video.
