Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Prajakta Koli test -ve for COVID-19

Actors Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and filmmaker Raj Mehta tested positive for COVID-19 positive on the sets of their upcoming film Jug Jug Jeeyo is known. The star cast also included Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Koli who have tested negative for the novel coronavirus.

Mumbai: Actors Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta, have tested COVID-19 positive. The stars as well as the filmmaker are part of the unit of the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which landed in Chandigarh in the second week of November for an outdoor schedule.

Film's other lead actors, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Koli, have tested negative for the virus. According to reports, no other person in the unit is known to have tested COVID-19 positive. The shoot has been halted until the actors and director regain their health completely.

Before the shoot kickstarted, all cast and crew members were tested for the virus in November. Few cast and crew members, however, contracted the virus while shooting for the film.

Following the news that Varun and Neetu had tested positive, rumour had spread in sections of social media that Anil has also tested COVID positive. The actor on Friday tweeted from his verified account to put an end to rumours and wrote, "In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes."

Prajakta Koli tested negative for COVID-19

YouTube star Prajakta, who marks her Bollywood debut with the film also took to Instagram Stories to assure her concerned fans that her reports have turned out to be negative.
