Mumbai: The makers of Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter starrer Khaali Peeli have dropped the trailer of flick online.
The film stars Ishaan (Blackie) as a taxi driver and Ananya (Pooja) as a dancer who is hiding from her clients after she ran away with stolen money and jewellery. The surprise element of the trailer is Jaideep Ahlawat as the villain.
The trailer begins with Ananya in bandit mode as she takes over Ishaan's taxi with a gun. She throws out a passenger as a petrified Ishaan follows all her instruction. The duo agrees to divide the stolen money among themselves only on one condition; Ishaan will have to help Ananya to hide from the goons of Jaideep. A chase ensues between the protagonists, the police and the goons. It has little of something for everybody: action, humour, dance sequences and drama.

Khaali Peeli is a story about two childhood sweethearts, Pooja and Blackie, who get separated during their young age but are brought back together in a crazy situation.
The film is directed by debutant director Maqbool Khan and backed by filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar, Himanshu Mehra and Zee Studio.
It went on the floors in September last year and was scheduled for a June 12 release but was delayed due to the shuttering of film theatres. The movie will start streaming on OTT platform Zeeplex from October 2.
