Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif has kept her alleged romance with Vicky Kaushal a hush-hush affair. The actor, who is in Austria for the shooting of her upcoming film Tiger 3, however, took out time to pen a birthday post for rumoured beau's younger brother Sunny Kaushal.
Vicky's actor brother Sunny turned a year older today and leading the birthday wishes from Bollywood was none other than Katrina. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Katrina wrote, "Happy birthday, Sunny Kaushal. May your days be filled with sunshine, joy and love." Sunny was quick enough to reply to Kaif's birthday wish for him and wrote, "Thank you so much Katrina" followed by a read heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Sunny, who is busy promoting his upcoming film Shiddat, was asked during one of his promotional interviews how their parents reacted to Vicky and Katrina's engagement reports. Vicky and Katrina's engagement rumours made headlines before she jetted off with Salman Khan for Tiger 3 shoot. But, according to Sunny, the rumours had no truth to them.

During a virtual interview, Sunny had said, "I remember that Vicky had gone to the gym in the morning when the rumours started coming. So, when he returned home, mom and dad funnily asked him, 'Arre yaar, teri engagement ho gayi, mithai to khila de'. And then Vicky told them, 'Jitni asli engagement hui hai, utni asli mithai bhi kha lo'. We don’t know where it all came from, but we all were laughing so hard because of that".
Sunny is awaiting the release of Shiddat which also stars Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty in lead roles. The film will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from October 1.
