Hyderabad: Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif adds another interesting project to her kitty. The actor is reportedly being roped in to play the lead opposite South superstar Vijay Sethupathi in filmmaker Sriram Raghavan's forthcoming film.

While details from the upcoming project are being kept under the wraps, reports suggest that the Andhadhun filmmaker has made this untitled project with Vijay and Katrina his prime priority. According to a leading webloid report, Raghavan has put his big-budget movie Ekkis with Varun Dhawan on the backburner to fast track the work on the film with Sethupathi and Katrina.

While nothing much is known about the film, the union of Raghavan and Sethupathi is exciting enough for movie buffs to look forward to the film as both are known for pushing the envelope with their unusual choices. The untitled film will be Sriram's first outing after taking home the National Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for his 2018 release Andhadhun.

Meanwhile, Katrina will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's cop action-drama Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar. The actor also has horror-comedy Phone Bhoot co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter in her kitty. Another interesting project in which Katrina will be playing a lead role is Ali Abbas Zafar's superhero film which is designed like a franchise. The action drama is reportedly titled Super Soldier.
