Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and on the occasion of the Bhumi Pujan, several celebrities from Bollywood and the leading cast of Ramayan took to social media to laud the 'historic' act.
Taking to Twitter, Anupam Kher wrote: "Aapko aur aapke parivaar ko Ram janmabhoomi poojan ke haardik shubhakamnayein. Jay shree raam!! #JaiShreeRam."

In a separate tweet, the Hema congratulated the devotees of Lord Ram. Sharing an audio message, she said: "Sadiyon ke sangharsh ke baad aaj Ayodhya mei Shree Ram Mandir banne jaa raha hai, jiska Bhoomi Poojan aaj humaare Mananiye Pradhan Mantri Shri Narendra Modi jee kar rahe hain. (After centuries-long struggle, Ram Temple is all set to be built in Ayodhya today and its Bhoomi Poojan is being done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi)."
