Mumbai: Actor and a newbie mother Kalki Koechlin recently took her fans by surprise as she sang a popular Bengali lullaby for her daughter Sappho.
The actor took to social media to share the small video. The Mother's Day special post saw Kalki's little munchkin enjoying her mother strumming the ukulele and singing Ghum Parani while Sappho sways her hands in the air.
Hopping on to Instagram, Kalki wrote: "Ghoom parani Thank you @gangulytikka for teaching me to skip along to this Bengali tune. #shortandsweet #lullaby."

The video has garnered over hundreds of thousands of likes on the photo and video sharing platform. Her fans and celebrity followers also took to the comments section and showered love on the mother-daughter duo.

Earlier, the actor sang an African and a Portuguese lullabies for her daughter. No doubt, the Margarita With A Straw actor wants to expose her baby girl Sappho to various languages right from the beginning.
Kalki and her boyfriend Guy Hersberg welcomed Sappo in February 2020. She had previously married filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in 2011 but the two separated after a couple of years.
