Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Kabir Singh' has been certified as the first A-certificate Hindi film. The film will set a new benchmark today by crossing Rs 200 crore mark.
In its second week, the film has earned Rs 12.21 crores on Friday, Rs 17.10 crores on Saturday, Rs 17.84 crores on Sunday, Rs 9.07 crores on Monday and Rs 8.31 crores on Tuesday. The gross income results to Rs 198.95 crores.
The film has emerged to be the highest grossing Hindi film of 2019. It will surely challenge the lifetime biz of 'Uri'.
Helmed by Sandeep Vanga, the film is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series. It features Shahid and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles and was released on June 21.
