Janhvi Kapoor was trolled for holding a book upside down at an event in Delhi.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor has triggered trolls for holding a book upside down at the launch event of the Hindi edition of author Harinder Sikka's book Calling Sehmat.

As soon as the pictures from the launch event surfaced on social media, Janhvi became a target of massive trolling for her impromptu act.

The trolled called out the Dhadak actor for holding the book upside down while launching it. Many even termed her as 'nadan ladki'.

However, later Janhvi corrected her mistake as she was seen holding the book right in the aftermath pictures from the event.

For the event, Janhvi opted for a beige coloured sari with a floral border looking gorgeous in minimal make-up.

Calling Sehmat is one of the bestsellers based on the life of a young Kashmiri girl Sehmat who works as a spy for India. The novel was brought to life in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi featuring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.

On the work front, Janhvi will be next seen in the upcoming horror-comedy 'Roohiafza' opposite Rajkummar Rao. The actor has already shot in Manali, Rourkee and a village near Agra for the film.

Meanwhile, Janhvi has also started shooting for Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena biopic which also stars Angad Bedi and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.

Janhvi has also been roped in to play a significant role in Karan Johar's next big project 'Takht' and the sequel of 'Dostana', also featuring Kartik Aaryan.

She has also been roped in for Netflix's upcoming anthology titled Ghost Stories, an anthology of four short films directed by Zoya, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee.
