Janhvi Kapoor is a self-confessed Vijay Deverakonda fan is know. The actor who was reportedly set to make Telugu debut opposite the Arjun Reddy star is now making headlines for bagging Trivikram Srinivas film starring Jr NTR.

Mumbai: Janhvi Kapoor is set to make a splash in Telugu filmdom with Trivikram Srinivas' directorial in which she is reportedly paired opposite Jr NTR.

According to reports, Janhvi and Pooja Hegde have been roped in for Jr. NTR's upcoming film Ayinanu Poyi Ravale Hastinaku. Helmed by Trivikram, the upcoming flick made headlines when the team had to cancel the shoot due to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent nationwide lockdown.

Interestingly, Janhvi and Jr NTR have an interesting connection which Telugu movie-buffs are likely to be aware of.

Janhvi's mother, late superstar Sridevi who had ruled the Hindi cinema also had a golden run in down south. The news of Janhvi starring opposite Jr NTR will remind cine-goers of Sridevi's superhit film Vetagaadu in which she starred opposite N. T. Rama Rao.

After three decades, late screen diva's daughter is reportedly gearing up to romance N. T. Rama Rao's grandson Jr NTR in Trivikram's film.

It would be interesting to see if the duo manages to recreate the magic that N. T. Rama Rao and Sridevi did in the 80s.

At the beginning of 2020, Janhvi was seen in Zoya Akhtar's horror short segment, Ghost Stories. The actor also has diverse projects in her kitty, ranging from Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, horror-comedy RoohiAfza, Dostana 2 and Karan Johar's magnum opus Takht.

Meanwhile, where most people are finding self-quarantine time hard, Janhvi and her sister Khushi Kapoor are making most of their time together at home.
