Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor has her vision clear about what she wants from her career in films. She was already famous even before she made her big-screen debut in 2018. With the killer looks and improving acting skills, Janhvi is one of the promising young actors but getting to the top is not what her dreams are made of. She wants to be loved by the audience more than anything else.

In a recent interview, Janhvi spoke about how people in the industry are so quick to slot actors in whatever category they feel and the best part about being an actor. She also got candid while sharing her views on the rat race and competition with her contemporaries.

When asked how she looks at cut-throat competition in the industry, Janhvi said, "I focus on my work and do what I love to the best of my abilities. I am looking for opportunities where I can be the best. Competition means different to different people. It may not be necessarily box office numbers. If you know, you know, maybe it’s an award or the feeling that you are loved by audiences. When you have that, you just know. When they own you, like they owned my mom (late actor Sridevi), you feel you belong to them."

The actor was last seen in the digitally-released film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She will next feature in Good Luck Jerry, which has begun shooting in Punjab. Directed by Sidharth Sengupta and written by Pankaj Matta, the film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashishth, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh. Her other films lined up are Roohi Afza and Dostana 2.
