Hyderabad: The trailer of Jagame Thandhiram is out and it promises a gripping story about a globally prevalent issue of social belonging through a locally rooted character. Headlined by Dhanush, Jagame Thandhiram will have a direct OTT release worldwide on June 18.
The film co-stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan and Joju George, and marks the Indian debut of Scottish actor James Cosmo. The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and it tells the story of a nomadic gangster who has to choose between good and evil.
The power-packed trailer of Jagame Thandhiram features Suruli (Dhanush) as a reckless, gangster from Madurai who happens to get recruited by a London-based politically-affluent gang leader Peter (James Cosmo) and his men to understand and break into the illegal underworld operations of the Sivadoss (Joseph Joju George) and his gang which is rising in power, taking control of the illegal weapons and gold business of London.
