Tiger's father Jackie Shroff, who played Disha's on-screen brother in Salman Khan's Eid 2021 release Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, was asked if he approves of whom his kids are dating in a virtual interview for a portal on Father's Day. Jackie's daughter Krishna Shroff who was also part of the conversation said, "I don't think my dad has liked anyone I have been with to be honest. But I don't blame him as he is been right throughout."

When Jackie was asked about Tiger and Disha's relationship, he said, "It's his life. At the age of 25 he started dating I think and they are bloody good friends and I have no idea what they have decided for their future." Jackie also said that Tiger is focused on work more than anything else. "Work is his first love that's what I have seen," said Jackie.
