It's confirmed! Raveena Tandon to feature in KGF: Chapter 2

Actor Raveena Tandon has got on board for KGF: Chapter 2. Director Prashanth Neel on Sunday announced that the Satta star will be featuring in the upcoming action drama.

Mumbai: Actor Raveena Tandon is all set to make her comeback in films with KGF: Chapter 2.

Director Prashanth Neel, who is helming the second part of the action drama KGF, took to Twitter on Sunday to announce the latest addition to the film's cast.

"The lady who issues the death warrant has arrived!!! A warm welcome to you @TandonRaveena mam. #KGFChapter2," Prashanth tweeted.

He also posted a picture on Twitter in which the duo are seen sharing the same frame.

Going by Prashanth's tweet, Raveena is seen posing happily with the director. She looked stunning in a floral white attire. While the director is seen sporting a blue tee.

The 45-year-old actor will essay the role of Ramika Sen in the upcoming project. Actor Sanjay Dutt is also a part of the film. He will play the role of an antagonistAdheera.

Produced by Hombale Films, KGF: Chapter 2 will release worldwide in multiple languages including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.

The film is a follow-up of the Kannada blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1, which starred the Kannada star Yash with Tamannaah Bhatia and Ananth Nag.

One of the most successful films of 2018 KGF: Chapter 1, which had hit the big screens alongside Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, performed remarkably well at the box office.

Starring Yash in the lead, the first part's narrative follows an underdog who later becomes a dangerous gangster. The upcoming sequel is said to follow the power struggle between Rocky (Yash) and Adheera (Sanjay).
