When asked if the reports of SLB adapting 'Immortals of Meluha' in a film has any truth to it, the author said, "Sanjay Leela Bhansali and I are friends. I love his movies and he likes my books. But no deal had been signed between us. The media reports on this were wrong. There is no question of feeling any irritation if films don't work out. Every book has its fate. 'The Lord of the Rings' took many decades to be made into a film, while 'Jurassic Park' was was almost immediately made. My books will also be made into movies when Lord Shiva wills it."
