Currently, as many as six films are demanding her attention keeping magazine shoots and brand endorsements aside. The actor who turned cover girl for Elle magazine's latest issue was asked about what inspires her to take up multiple projects at the same time, Taapsee said she has no choice as she has pay gap and limited shelf life as a female actor to deal with.

"As a female actor, I don’t get paid at par with my male counterparts. I am also aware that I have a limited prime run in the films, so I have to maximise on my time! I can’t afford to sit at home now that work is picking up after the pandemic-induced lull," said Taapsee in the mag interview.
