Priyanka, in the latest virtual interview, has spoken about her memoir Unfinished which she calls "in between interviews book." When asked where Hindi cinema fits in her priority list, Chopra said, "As a producer, it (Hindi cinema) fits in a big way. I had to pivot in working in America for a while as a producer as well because I was just building. I can't come at it from a sense of entitlement. I got to really build as a producer and drawing credits as I can. But, I really do want to do Hindi movies as long as people will have me but the problem is that I am still building my career in America so it's taking a little bit of my energy and time to be able to focus on that."

She further added, "It took me 10 years to focus in Bollywood to eventually be at the place that I was and it requires building and you don't get anything overnight and I haven't definitely gotten anything overnight. I want to straddle both (Hindi and West). I want to be able to do a Hindi film next year. I'm very excited about one of them... we are working on scheduling...it is with my friends. But as a producer, I'm definitely looking at doing a lot of work in India which may or may not star me but it has some really cool envelope-pushing content."
