Housefull 4 sees decent opening, mints Rs 19.08 cr on day 1

Housefull 4, the latest instalment of the Housefull series, saw a healthy opening on its release day as the film has grossed over Rs 18.85 crores in theatres across India.

Mumbai: The multi-starrer comedy-drama Housefull 4 has collected Rs 19.08 crores across India on its first day of release.

The film features a huge star cast including Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Riteish Deshmukh among others.

The movie which has hit the big screens on Friday is a reincarnation comedy.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the collection figures of the movie.

In one of his latest tweet, he wrote: "Revised: Fri 19.08 cr."

Directed by Farhad Samji, the comedy-drama is bankrolled by Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

The movie has also set the internet on fire with Bala Challenge.

Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar not only surprised his fans by dancing like crazy on the peppy track 'Bala...Shaitaan Ka Saala' from the movie, he has also challenged his friends and fans to perform the signature step as part of #Balachallenge.
