Hina's boyfriend slams Sonam for post on privileges of being star kid

After Sonam Kapoor said on Father's Day that it's 'my karma where I'm born and to whom I'm born', TV actor Hina Khan's boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal has criticised Sonam's post on privileges as a star kid.

Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor's tweet on Father's day hasn't gone down well with many including Hina Khan's boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal. He responded to actor's post on privileges she gets as a star kid, sayings he 'expected better' from the actor.

In her tweet, Sonam wrote, "Today on Father's Day I'd like to say one more thing, yes I'm my father's daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I'm privileged. That's not an insult, my father has worked very hard to give me all of this. And it is my karma where I'm born and to whom I'm born. I'm proud. To be his daughter."

While many countered Sonam's narrow narrative of Karma and casteist attitude, Hina Khan's boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal couldn't stop himself from slamming the actorfor the same.

In his tweet, he wrote, "So, every individual who’s been denied the opportunity they deserved bcoz of #Privileges n #Nepotism deserved it for their 'Karma' in their past life? By that logic, I can’t begin to imagine your next life @sonamakapoor! Respectfully M’am, I expected better frm U given ur fathers BG."

In another tweet, he said, "Btw this western version of a sacred cosmic balance is the reason why d poor r left in this country on d roads by d rich, privileged and powerful.
