Mumbai: Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' and Sriram Raghavan's 'Andhadhun' have fetched nomination at the 2019 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

The films are competing to win the Best Film title at the festival. Actors Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana have also been nominated for the category of Best Actors.

Other films that have received the nominations are 'Badhaai Ho', 'Sui Dhaga: Made In India' and 'Super Deluxe'.

The best actor nominees also include Amitabh Bachchan for 'Badla', Vijay Sethupathi for 'Super Deluxe', Manoj Bajpayee for 'Bhonsle', Vicky Kaushal for 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and Namdev Gaurav for 'Namdev Bhau'.

Apart from Sriram Raghavan and Zoya Akhtar, other prominent directors competing for the category of Best Director title are Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Rima Das, Praveen Morchhale, Abhishek Chaubey and Jahnu Barua.

For the category of Best Actress, Tabu for 'Andhadhun', Neena Gupta for 'Badhaai Ho', Alia Bhatt for 'Gully Boy', Rituparna Sengupta for 'Ahaa Re', Jigmet Dewa Lhamo for 'Chuskit', Zerifa Wahid for 'Bhoga Khirikee' are vying for the superlative honour.
