Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan, who was admitted to Nanavati Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, is responding well to the treatment is known. The veteran actor on Tuesday took to social media and penned a gratitude-filled note for the doctors and nurses.
Sharing a picture of a hand reaching out for help, Bachchan wrote in Hindi: "Pristine white their layered dress; dedicated to serve they be; god-like incarnations they; companions of the sufferer they; erased they their ego have; to us they have embraced in care; they be the divine destination; they fly the flags of humanity..."

On Saturday, senior Bachchan and his son Abhishek were diagnosed COVID-19 positive. Following the antigen test on Sunday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also came out to be positive.
While Amitabh and Abhishek are undergoing treatment at the hospital, Aishwarya and Aaradhya have been quarantined at home.

Earlier, Amitabh, who seems to be completely swept away by the outpouring of love, thanked his fans and well-wishers for brightening the darkness of his isolation with their messages of love.
"The heavy rainfall of your prayers and good wishes has broken all the dams of affectionate bonds. I am flooded with so much love. I can't explain the way you have brightened the darkness of my isolation. I bow down to you," he wrote in Hindi.
Meanwhile, 26 high-risk staff members working at the Bachchan bungalows were also tested for COVID-19 and their reports suggest that are negative for the virus.
