Mumbai: Building all the excitement for 'Toofan', actor Farhan Akhtar has finally started shooting for the movie.
The 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' actor on Wednesday took to his social media to announce the news about his forthcoming film.
Sharing an image of the clapboard, he wrote on Instagram: "Day 1. #ToofanInTheMaking #nerves #excitement #cinemagic #lovemyjob."
In the film, the 'Rock On' star will be seen portraying the role of a boxer.

Helmed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, the sports drama wouldn't be a biopic. It will visualize a fictional story.
The duo had earlier collaborated for 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' a biopic based on Indian athlete Milkha Singh. Omprakash Mehra's 2013 directorial venture has fetched Farhan a number of awards for his portrayal of the athlete.
Earlier, the 45-year-old actor shared several posts on Instagram where he kept his fans updated with his preparation for the film.
In other news, Farhan will be seen in Shonali Bose's 'The Sky Is Pink'. The actor has reunited with his 'Dil Dhadakne Do' co-star Priyanka Chopra.
Set to release on October 11, 2019, the film also features 'Dangal' fame Zaira Wasim in a pivotal role.
