New Delhi: Emraan Hashmi's upcoming film 'Ezra' went on floors today. The first shooting schedule is being shot in Mauritius.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter along with pictures of the movie's clapperboard.

'Ezra' is a Hindi remake to Malayalam film by the same name. It is being directed by Jay Krishnan who helmed the original version.
The movie which is a supernatural thriller is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Krishan Kumar and Abhishek Pathak.

The original film 'Ezra' featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priya Anand in lead roles. It revolved around an antique box that Priya bought from a dealer. Later, the actors started experiencing paranormal activities. The film was released on February 10, 2017.
Notably, Emraan has earlier featured in several horror-thrillers such as 'Raaz: The Mystery Continues', 'Raaz 3: The Third Dimension', 'Ek Thi Daayan' and 'Raaz Reboot'.
Meanwhile, the 'Murder' actor has a lined up projects for him including 'Chehre', 'Mumbai Saga' and Nextflix series 'The Bard of Blood'.
