Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is gearing up for shooting Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan, says that she feels honoured to share the frame with "cinematic genius" Amir.
Kareena and Aamir have delivered a blockbuster like 3 Idiots in 2009 followed by critically-acclaimed Talaash 2012. The duo is set for their third collaboration with Laal Singh Chaddha which is a remake of the 1994 film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks.
"The film is very special to me. It's going to be an absolute honour to be in the same frame as Aamir because I've always been a huge fan of him. It's always been a dream come true to work with him. He is a cinematic genius and sharing a frame with him again would be an absolute dream come true again," Kareena said on reuniting with Aamir.
Kareena spoke to media while attending the red carpet event of a beauty awards in Mumbai on October 05. The actor also spoke about the upcoming season of her radio show What Women Want. The guest list on the show includes Kareena's husband Saif Ali Khan and mother in law Sharmila Tagore.

Coming back to Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir reprises Hanks' simple-minded yet loveable character.
According to reports, the first schedule of Laal Singh Chaddha will begin from November 1 in Punjab. The team will be filming scenes from Aamir and Kareena's college days, and narrate how they met and fell in love and then separated.
The characters essayed by Aamir and Kareena will be seen in various looks to denote the passage of time over three decades and also depict them in various professions. Apparently, Aamir has lost 20 kilos to play the younger version of his title role of Laal Singh Chaddha.
Directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, and written by Atul Kulkarni, the film will release on Christmas 2020.
