Mumbai: Actor and filmmaker Divya Khosla Kumar came out in support of her husband, Bhushan Kumar after Sonu Nigam threatened to expose him on social media.
Sonu created quite a stir when he warned T-Series chairman and MD, Bhushan Kumar to not mess with him. Sonu's warning apparently has come in response to the paid PR campaign run against him after his comment on how music industry is ruled by powerful labels.
While Bhushan has not responded to Sonu's warning, his wife Divya took to social media to speak on his behalf.
In her reply to Sonu Nigam, Divya wrote on her Instagram stories, "Today it’s all about who can run a good campaign.. I’m even seeing people being able to sell lies and deceits with their strong campaigns.. Sonu Nigam - such kind of people know how to play with the minds of the audience.. God save our world."

In another post, Divya accused Sonu of being "thankless" and used the lines from his song ‘Acha Sila Diya Tune Mere Pyaar Ka’ in the statement.
"Sonu Nigam ji, T-Series ne aapko industry mein break diya, apko aage badaya .. agar aapko itni hi khundas thi Bhushan se toh phele kyun nahi bole.. Aaj publicity ke liye kyon kar rahe hai.. aapke pitaji ke khud maine itne videos direct kiye jiseke liye voh humesha itne shukar guzar rehte the,, But some people are thankless #achasiladiyatunemerepyaarka," wrote Divya.
It all started when Sonu in a recent video posted on Instagram had appealed to music companies (without taking names) to be a little kind towards newcomer artistes, saying otherwise more people will commit suicide. He had mentioned in his previous video that currently two companies rule the music industry. He had also claimed falling prey to power play by a Bollywood actor.
