Mumbai: Veteran actress Dimple Kapadia turned a year older on Saturday. Mother to Twinkle Khanna, who turned 62 today, grabbed the netizen's attention as her daughter posted a 'goofy' video of her on Instagram.
Looking stylish as ever, acquaintances and well-wishers showered compliments for the evergreen actress.
Mrs. Funnybones took to social media to share the video of her mother in which she is looked beautiful as always.
Twinkle, praising her mother, wrote on Instagram: "The birthday girl is shining bright! Mother turns a year older and looks even better :) #thefabulousbirthdaygirl #goofingaround."
Dimple's video grabbed the attention of the social media users including members of the film fraternity. Several Bollywood celebrities such as Malaika Arora, Tahira Kashyap, Daboo Ratnani, Sonali Bendre, Sophie Choudry, Smriti Irani and others poured their heartfelt wishes for the actress.
Dimple, who started her career at the age of 16, became an overnight sensation with 'Bobby' in 1973. Soon after the success of the film, she quit the industry for her wedding with the then superstar Rajesh Khanna. But after a decade of absence, she returned for a successful innings in filmdom with 'Saagar' and proved her mettle with an eclectic mix of commercial and parallel cinema - "Aitbaar", "Arjun", "Ram Lakhan", "Batwara", "Kaash", "Rudaali" and "Lekin".
