Ahmedabad: The lead pair of 'Arjun Patiala' Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon have arrived in Ahmedabad for the promotion of their upcoming film. In a recent conversation with ETV Bharat, the duo has opened up about their film.
The trailer of the film has left the audience in splits. The 2 minutes 27 seconds video featuring Punjabi singer-cum-actor Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon among others have grabbed the eyeballs of many.
The onscreen couple was having a pleasant time in each others company. Interacting with the reporter, Kriti said that the film is of a spoofy genre and the audience will enjoy watching it thoroughly.
Film's lead Kriti said that the movie has a funny take on the characters and the "cliche scenes."
The actress revealed that the movie has a new take on comedy which has only been shown in films like 'Deadpool' and in some scary movies. She has also pointed out that such a genre has not yet been explored in Bollywood.
When asked if the actress undertook any preparation for her character in the film, Kriti said she has drawn references from a few bloopers that are available online.
Diljit, who has visited Ahmedabad for the first time shared his feelings in his unique style. Kriti said that she has learnt people in Gujrat and Ahmedabad loves comedy.
Speaking about the co-actor, Diljit revealed that he has learnt how to be "easy" in situations from Kriti. On the other hand, Kriti said that Diljit has never brought any change within himself for anyone.
On a concluding note, Diljit has also crooned a song for his fans.
