Bollywood legend Dilip Kumar's health is 'not too well' revealed his wife and yesteryear actor Saira Banu. She has also urged the nonagenarian actor's fans to pray for his well being.

Mumbai: Legendary actor Dilip Kumar is not keeping well said his wife Saira Bano. The Bollywood thespian is under complete isolation and quarantine since the outbreak of COVID-19 as he is at the highest risk of contracting the virus given his age.

Saira, who has been taking care of Kumar since years, spoke to a leading daily and said, "It is out of love and not duress that I look after Dilip saab. I am not looking for praises to be called a devoted wife. Just to touch him and cuddle him is the world’s best thing that’s happening to me. I adore him and he is my breath itself."

Speaking about the actor's present health condition, Saira said that she is 'grateful to God for each day'.

"He’s not too well. He’s weak. At times, he walks into the hall and back to his room. His immunity is low. Pray for his welfare. We are grateful to God for each day," said the Diwana actor, who married 23 years elder Dilip in 1966.

Dilip Kumar was last seen on the big screen in Qila in 1998. He was honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015. In a career spanning five decades, he had gifted us classics such as Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam and Naya Daur.
