Cast and crew only greet him verbally. They have all stopped hugging him to avoid body contact. The actor is yet to undergo another round of X-ray test in London.

London: Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi has resumed shooting for the upcoming film '83'. The actor had earlier met with a motorcycle accident and was diagnosed with three fractures in the ribs.

During the medical checkup, he complained of acute pain in his abdominal area. The actor said that a physiotherapist on the film's set has been kind enough to help him out with the pain. A day before his scheduled vacation, the actor suffered a severe injury.

Despite the fractures, Tripathi has started shooting for the film.

Speaking about his health condition, the 'Mirzapur' actor said: "I am taking precautions by not lifting weights, no sudden and harsh movements to avoid stress on ribs. I am taking all precautionary measures such as wearing this safety chest belt to avoid any pressure, to prevent stress on ribs."

"Even the crew is taking care as not to give me scenes or shots that will require physical stress. As actors, we should be more alert. I was careful, but accidents can happen anytime and anywhere."

Speaking about his co-actors and crew of the film, Pankaj told: "They all have stopped hugging me because of the pressure it could cause on my ribs. They all just greet me verbally without body contact. Ranveer Singh, being so close, friendly and electrifying, is also taking care of my health and greets me from a distance."

The actor further clarified that he is on medication and will undergo another round of X-ray test in London next week.

Presented by Reliance Entertainment, '83' will also star Saqib Saleem, Adinath Kothare, Chirag Patil, Harddy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jatin Sarna, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Dinker Sharma, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Dhairya Karwa, Nishant Dahhiya and R Badree in prominent roles.
