Hyderabad: Deepika Padukone is apparently ready to push the envelope as an actor as she is in talks for the role of an antagonist in the fourth installment of India's most-loved heist franchise Dhoom.
After creating iconic villain characters with John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan in previous installments of Dhoom, now Yash Raj Films is planning to rope in Deepika to play a baddie in the upcoming chapter.
To raise the bar, Yash Raj Films has decided to rope in a female villain in Dhoom 4. The makers have approached Deepika to play the part but the Piku actor, who is more than willing to sign the film is reportedly facing date issues as she has multiple projects at various levels of production for this year.

If everything falls in place, Dhoom 4 will be Deepika's first film in which she will be seen playing a negative role in her 14 years long career. Meanwhile, the actor has YRF's Pathan in her kitty which reunites her with Shah Rukh Khan after six years.
Deepika also has Shakun Batra's untitled next which co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. The actor has also signed a pan-India film with Prabhas while rumours about her bagging lead role in Atlee's next are doing rounds of the tinseltown. The Intern Hindi remake and her most ambitious film based on Draupadi’s life and the adaptation of Mahabharata are some of the projects which she will star in and produce.
