Mumbai: Actor Deepika Padukone on Tuesday crossed 50 million followers mark on Instagram and expressed gratitude for the love and support from fans.
The actor took to social media platform and re-posted a series of Instagram stories by fans, which included her pictures, video montages and even letters to mark the occasion.
The 34-year-old actor expressed that she was "grateful" for hitting the milestone.
Deepika was last seen in Meghna Gulzar's directorial Chhapaak. The film is based on the life of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal.
Her next film, helmed by the Kapoor & Sons director Shakun Batra, also features actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.
The film was scheduled to go on floors in Sri Lanka but got pushed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, the actor took to Instagram and extended heartwarming wishes to her hubby Ranveer Singh on his birthday.
Sharing a monochromatic photo, Deepika wrote: "The light of my life. The centre of my universe. I wish you good health and peace of mind in abundance. As for the rest, I’ll tell you in person! I Love You! #happybirthday."
