Mumbai: Daisy Shah who has cemented her place in Kannada films and Hindi films marked her 35th birthday on Sunday. On her special day, the actress paid her visit to Shirdi to seek blessings from Sai Baba.
Expressing her excitement to visit the temple, the actress said that she felt very good. She had come to the temple after 20-25 years and the best thing about her visit is that today is her birthday.
She further said that nothing could beat such a good start to her birthday.
Talking to the reporter, the 34-year-old actress said that we should not divide art for sake of religion.
When asked whether artists should go to Pakistan to present their art, she said: "Art has no religion, no one should divide art in the name of religion, art is art."
Born on August 25, 1984, Daisy started her career early with modelling. Later on, she has also worked with choreographer Ganesh Acharya.
In 2014, the actress made her Bollywood debut with 'Jai Ho' starring opposite to Salman Khan. Besides 'Jai Ho', she was also featured in commercial films such as 'Hate Story 3' and 'Race 3'.
