Mumbai: Adjusting to the new normal, Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has apparently chopped off a love scene from his upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi which is headlined by Alia Bhatt.
With social distancing increasingly becoming the new normal, filmmakers are restructuring intimate sequences while grappling with the new normal post COVID-19 era. According to reports, Bhansali has decided to scrap a love sequence between Alia and her love interest played by dancer-turned actor Shantanu Maheshwari in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

According to a webloid report, the markers are trying to "safe than sorry in these troubled times." A source close to the project told the webloid that physical intimacy would definitely be avoided in the film while Sanjay is mulling ways on how to go forward with romantic closeness.
In the film that revolves around a brothel owner and matriarch, Alia will be seen playing a mafia queen who was also known as The Madame Of Kamathipura.
Filming kissing and intimate scenes are becoming a huge concern amid coronavirus scare. This comes as an additional jolt to the brooding film industry which is not only staring at massive losses but also fear the loss of jobs in production, distribution and exhibition departments.
