Mumbai: Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria starrer 'Student Of The Year 2' witnessed a slight growth on Saturday. The movie minted Rs 14.02 crore on its second day at the box office.
Helmed by Punit Malhotra, 'SOTY 2' opened to mixed response from the audience and the critics. It raked in Rs 12.06 crores on the first day taking the two-day collection to Rs 26.08 crores.
'Student Of The Year 2' has emerged as Tiger's second highest opener till date. His 2018 release 'Baaghi 2' stands on top with a collection of Rs 25.01 crores.
The college drama traces the journey of the newest batch of Saint Teresa's college including a small town guy Rohan played by Tiger, rich-spoilt brat Shreya (Ananya) and Mia (Tara).
Bankrolled by Dharma Productions, 'SOTY 2' is a sequel to 2012 released 'Student Of The Year'. The movie marked the debut of Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan into Bollywood.
