Mumbai: A picture of an old man who apparently looks like Amitabh Bachchan's character in Gulabo Sitabo has surfaced the internet.
The uncanny resemblance between the two has left netizens dumbstruck.
Creating a collage of the two, an unverified profile shared the image on Instagram back on May 23. Alongside the photo, the account manager wrote: "OH DAMN, GEE! Actor Amitabh Bachchan’s 'first look' from the forthcoming movie Gulabo Sitabo is exactly the replica of an Old Delhi man whose portrait I clicked and posted on my Insta in Jan last year—down to his scarf, beard, glasses!"
"My portrait inspired banker Joe Thomas @instajoetom in Kerala’s Aleppey to turn it into a beautiful sketch (see in next slide) a few days later, which he was kind enough to share with me! In fact, he’s the one who just pointed out to me the movie man’s resemblance to the real man I’d snapped! #inspiration #gulabositabo #amitabhbachchan," added the self-proclaimed photographer.

A host of social media users hit the comments section and penned lovely compliments.
"The resemblance is unbelievable!" wrote a user.
"And more power to your image making ability," wrote another.
However, filmmaker Shoojit Sircar claimed that character’s look is inspired by Russian artist Olga Larionova's pencil portrait of an old man.
