Apparently, Big B is supposed to host a Diwali party this year at jis mansion Jalsa in Mumbai. For the last two years the Bachchan's haven't been able to celebrate the festive occasion as in 2017, Aishwarya Rai's father passed away and in 2018, Shweta Nanda's father-in-law passed.
Recently, the veteran actor shared an unseen picture of Jaya Bachchan on the special occasion of Karwa Chauth. The picture showed a black and white image of Jaya, looking beautiful with a small bindi and can be seen smiling while leaning on Big B's shoulder. "The better half .. !! quite obviously the other half is irrelevant .. and therefore unseen," he captioned the image.

In the work front, he will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar's Gulaabo Sitab, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana. He also has Ayan Mukerji's Brahamastr coming up, where he shares screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Recently, the actor was declared as the recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to cinematic art.
