Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer action comedy Bachchan Pandey is all set to go on floors in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
Akshay was probably the first A-lister in Bollywood who was back on the sets after COVID-19 restrictions eased out. His spy-thriller Bell Bottom become the first film in the world to start and finish its shooting during the pandemic. The actor also shot for Prithviraj before he landed on the sets of Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re. And now, the reports suggest that Akki is all set for Bachchan Pandey's shoot.

Akshay and his Housefull 4 costar Kriti Sanon are reuniting for director Farhad Samji's action-comedy Bachchan Pandey. The actors along with a team of nearly 100 members will be heading to Rajasthan for film's shooting in the first week of January 2021. The makers have planned a 30-day schedule with lead actors in Jaisalmer. The film will be reportedly shot in places like Gadisar Lake and Jaisalkot.
Akshay's eponymous character in the film is a gangster who aspires to be an actor, while, Kriti will essay the role of a journalist, who harbours dreams of becoming a film director. The action-comedy which marks Sajid Nadiadwala's 10th collaboration with Akshay will also star Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
