Hyderabad: Bollywood hit machine Ayushmann Khurrana will soon treat the movie buffs with his upcoming film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, the release date of which has been revealed.
After Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom and Luv Ranjan's next starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is the third film in a day which is announced to have a theatrical release.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Pragya Kapoor’s Guy in the Sky Pictures. Announcing film's release date, a note on the official Twitter handle of T-Series reads, "Abhishek Kapoor’s ChandigarhKareAashiqui starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor is all set for a theatrical release on 9th July 2021. In the film, Ayushmann will be seen portraying the role of a cross-functional athlete in the film while Vaani plays his love interest named Maanvi.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, had become the first mainstream film in India to wrap up shooting amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The love story directed by Abhishek Kapoor was shot in Chandigarh over just 48 days, amid the pandemic.
The film marks Abhishek Kapoor's return to direction three years after the romantic-drama Kedarnath. This is the filmmaker's first collaboration with Khurrana, who was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo.
Khurrana is currently working on Anek, which reunites the actor with his Article 15 director Anubhav Sinha.
