Varanasi: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana was recently spotted at the famous Dashashwamedh Ghat in the holy city taking part in the Ganga aarti.

Ayushmann is currently shooting for his upcoming film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan in Varanasi. Amid shooting, the actor took some time off to visit the religious spot to seek the blessings of the Lord.

The Andhadhun actor went to Dashashwamedh ghat to take part in the famous Ganga aarti where he religiously worshipped the Holy Ganga while tributing it with milk and water.

Ayushmann is juggling between the promotions of his upcoming film Bala for which he is travelling to different parts of the country and the shooting of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan.

Despite his hectic schedule, Ayushmann spared time for a spiritual hang out of about an hour relishing the peace of Ganga aarti at the holy ghat.

While fans wanted to click pictures with the star, Ayushmann's security guards didn't let anyone come close to the actor.

Reportedly, the actor is yet to shoot some portions of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan in Varanasi. He will also be promoting his upcoming release Bala in the city.

Bala which is slated to release on November 8 is a satirical comedy starring Ayushmann in the lead. The film will portray the life of a man who lives in Kanpur and is suffering from premature balding. The story revolves around his lack of confidence adding up to the societal pressure that comes with balding.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bala is produced by Maddock films and Jio Studios. The film also stars Bhumi Pedneker and Yami Gautam in significant roles.
