Ayushmann Khurrana fulfils his long-time wish in Varanasi

Ayushmann Khurrana recently took part in the famous Ganga Aarti. The actor said that he wanted to experience the spiritual moment since his college days.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana on Tuesday fulfilled his long-time wish as he performed the famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi.

Relishing her first Ganga Aarti experience, Ayushmann said, "It was a surreal moment for me to do my first Ganga Aarti at Varanasi. I had always wanted to experience this moment and had thought about it since college. I'm delighted that every single thing worked out for me to perform the Ganga Aarti. I won't ever forget this. It was an extremely peaceful, magical and soulful feeling for me."

The called himself deeply spiritual while recalling strange coincidences of him visiting spiritual places before his films' release.

"I call myself deeply spiritual and it is a strange and lovely coincidence that before the release of my last few films, I ended up being at a place known for its spirituality. Before Dream Girl's release, I was at Lalbaug, before Badhaai Ho's release I was at Vaishno Devi. It's a lovely coincidence and I hope I get to experience such places even more," he added.

Ayushmann is currently juggling between the promotions of his upcoming film Bala for which he is travelling to different parts of the country and the shooting of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan in Varanasi.

The Andhadhun actor who is yet to shoot some portions of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan in Varanasi will be also promoting his upcoming film Bala in the spiritual city.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bala is produced by Maddock films and Jio Studios. The film also stars Bhumi Pedneker and Yami Gautam in significant roles.

Bala is slated to release on November 8.
