Mumbai: Bollywood playback singer Armaan Malik has dropped in his latest international single on Friday.

Titled Control, the 3 minutes 21 seconds song features Armaan in the lead role.

Speaking about the song, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter said: "Control is a song that describes the push and pull feeling of being trapped in a controlling relationship and how confusing it can be to want in, but also want out. It’s inspired by the relationships I’ve seen around me."

For the first time, Armaan has collaborated with the industry veteran Wayne Wilkins to present the peppy number, which released via Arista Records.

Armaan and Wayne, who is also of Indian descent, meticulously seeded a few Indian inflections throughout the track’s bouncy pop ear candy.

It has been a lifelong dream for Armaan to sing and write English music. He is the first musical artist to truly represent India on a global stage.

"This music is inside of me, it’s my DNA. This has always been my trajectory," said Armaan.
