Mumbai: Kartik Aaryan shaved off his moustache on Ananya Panday's demand as her birthday present during their recent visit to the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye season 9 which took everyone by surprise.
During the show, host Maniesh Paul asked Kartik what he will present to Ananya as her birthday gift to which the actor said that whatever she asks for.
Ananya asked Kartik to shave off his moustache which takes him by surprise, however, he obliges to her dance and goes ahead with the task.
The pictures of clean-shaven Kartik is doing the rounds over the internet. The Pyar Ka Punchnama actor also shared a series of clicks showing Ananya trimming off his moustache.

Kartik and Ananya who will be seen in the upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Aur Woh have been in talks long before they started shooting together. However, the entry of Sara Ali Khan in his life turned the tables around.

Ananya who celebrated her 21st birthday on Saturday was spotted stepping out with Kartik for a dinner-date which re-sparked their dating rumours.
However, neither Kartik nor Ananya has ever admitted their relationship in the media. The actors always maintained they are just good friends.
Pati Patni Aur Woh is an adaptation of the 1978 drama of the same name. The film is a comical take on extra-marital affair. While Ananya plays Kartik's girlfriend, Bhumi Pedneker will be seen playing his wife.
The remake is slated to hit the big screens on December 6.
