Mumbai: Ananya Panday has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Ishaan Khatter in Ali Abbas' upcoming production.
According to a leading publication, the film titled Kaali Peeli will be a love story. The shooting is expected to begin in mid-September.
However, the other details regarding the film are under tight wraps.
Meanwhile, Ananya is shooting for her upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh in Lucknow, also starring Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pedneker in lead roles.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is an adaptation of B.R. Chopra's 1978 comedy classic of the same title. The original starred late actor Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur. The film is a comical take on the extra-marital affairs.
The remake which is in the last leg of its shooting is expected to have a wrap by early September. It will hit the big screens on December 6.
On Saturday, Ananya turned the showstopper for designers Arpita Mehta and Anushree Reddy's latest bridal collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019.
At the same time, Ishaan is currently shooting for Mira Nair's upcoming TV series A Suitable Boy also starring Tabu in a pivotal role.
Ananya marked her Bollywood debut earlier this year with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2 alongside Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff. While the movie failed to make a mark at the box office, Ananya's acting was appreciated by the critics.
On the other hand, Ishaan debuted into Bollywood last year with Dhamra Productions' Dhadak also starring Janhvi Kapoor. The movie was a commercial success.
