Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Ananya Panday is juggling sets of two of her upcoming films, Liger co-starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shakun Batra's untitled featuring Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The actor has shared some interesting details on both the films which are among the highly anticipated Hindi films for various reasons.

Ananya has her kitty full with two big films coming up next. She will be seen in Liger where she is cast opposite Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by Puri Jagannnadh, Liger is produced by Karan Johar. She will also be part of Shakun Batra's next where she will be seen alongside actors Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

There is great anticipation and excitement around both the films as details about Liger are being kept under wraps and makers have not even announced the title of Shakun's next. Adding to the hype, Ananya has said that she has great expectations from Liger. "It’s the masala, popcorn entertaining kind of film that I’ve loved watching. There are high expectations that I’ve set for myself from this one," Panday told a webloid.

Earlier, Deepika during an interview has said that Shakun's film is a domestic noir, a genre with which the Indian audience is not well acquainted with. On the same line, Ananya has now stated, "Shakun’s film is in a genre which hasn't been explored in Bollywood yet. And I think people will be really interested to see that, as well as the whole dynamic between the four of us."

Liger and Shakun's next are still on floors and the shooting schedules of both the films are hampered due to the COVID-19 second wave. Liger is set for theatrical release on September 9 but might get pushed due to the pandemic.
