Mumbai: Bollywood actress Amrita Rao has said that if her film 'Ishq Vishk' is to be remade then Sara Ali Khan would be the perfect candidate for playing the female lead.
The 38-year-old actor had earlier won hearts of many as she played the role of Payal Mehra in the 2003 film. Her character of a simple, college-going girl was loved and appreciated by one and all.
When asked about the sequel to 'Ishq Vishk', Amrita jokingly said: "The way I look right now, I think I can be cast opposite Ishaan Khatter in 'Ishq Vishk 2'! I am just kidding. Who is going to be the next Payal? Let's rather have a quiz on that."
When asked to choose between Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, Amrita said: "Maybe Sara can play Payal and Tara can play Shenaz's character."
The actress was at the store launch event of designer Sonali Jain on Sunday.
Directed by Ken Ghosh, the movie had launched Shahid Kapoor as the lead actor in Bollywood.
