Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan's Twitter account was hacked on Monday night by a 'pro-Pakistan' Turkish hacker group Ayyildiz Tim Turkish Cyber Army.
The hackers commended their mutual and friendly relation with Pakistan criticizing India for the alleged attack on Muslim during the month of Ramzan.
The Hackers tweeted, "This is an important call to the whole world! We do condemn the irrespective behaviors of Iceland republic towards Turkish footballers. We speak softly but carry a big stick and inform you about the big Cyber attack here. As Ayyildiz Tim Turkish Cyber Armny +++."
The display picture of Bachchan was changed to Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The hackers also posted a picture of Turkish and Pakistan flag stating, "The Indian state, who mercilessly attacks the Muslims fasting in the month of Ramadan, is attacking the Ummah Muhammad in this age! Indian Muslims are entrusted to us by Abdulhamid."
All the tweets from his account were deleted within an hour and the display picture was also removed back to the original bio.The actor's account was previously hacked in 2015. He had alleged that the hackers installed adult sites in the 'following' section of his account on the micro-blogging site.The 'Paa' actor has 37.4 million followers on social media platforms. He frequently stays connected with his fans on his Twitter handle.
