Mumbai: A year-old video has again hit the buzz on social media featuring Akshay Kumar taking on a traffic violator in the wittiest way possible.

In this season about elaborate discussions of traffic laws, Akshay's video in which is seen citing traffic rules with a tint of humour is unmissable.

In the Hindi language commercial, the Padman actor is seen dressed as a traffic inspector. When a man driving his car into a no-entry street, he stops the vehicle and then goes up with a grin.

"Your father was a great man, I am his fan and I have read all his books," Akshay tells the man behind the wheels.

Akshay then tells the errant driver that he has also paid homage to his late father. When the man objects, saying his father is alive, Akshay as traffic cop acts confused.

"Oh, isn't this your baap ka road (owned by your father)?" Akshay asks, feigning surprise, even as the camera pans to the name of the street -- Lokmanya Tiolak Road.

Akshay then asks the man if the road isn't owned by his father, why did he enter a no-entry zone and break the law?

The embarrassed man realises his mistake. As he is fined, Akshay gives the message, on the necessity to adhere to traffic rules.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar has almost every festive weekend booked for a release beginning on Diwali this year.

While Housefull 4 is slated for Diwali this year, Good News has been scheduled for Christmas 2019. Laxmmi Bomb has been lined up for Eid 2020 and Akshay aims at releasing Prithviraj on Diwali next year. His next release will be Bachchan Pandey, possibly on Christmas 2020.

Suryavanshi which is slated to release on March 27 next year is the only non-festive release coming up.
