A large number of fans were waiting at the Kota railway station to get a glimpse of Akshay, but the actor neither got down at the station nor did he peeped out from the window, disheartening his fans.
There was a tight-security at each railway station for the actors' safety as they were travelling through many stations.
Indian Railways has decided to allow trains to be booked for promotional activities under a new scheme called Promotion on Wheels, under which special trains will be made available for promotion.
Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 crew are the first ones to take the facility.
The film follows a non-linear narrative revolving around the theme of reincarnation. Filmmaker Farhad Samji took over the reins of Housefull 4 after Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment in the heat of #MeToo movement.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will hit the big screens amid the festivity of Diwali on October 25.
