Jalandhar: Actor Akshay Kumar extended his support to Jalandhar Police, who are at the forefront of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Akshay recently donated about 500 wrist bands to the cops deployed at the Jalandhar Commissionerate of Police. The wrist bands help to remotely track and manage the health of its personnel with this new technique during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commissioner of Police, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar on Saturday distributed 500 the watches.

Profusely thanking Akshay, who has taken this personal initiative, Bhullar said that this would boost the morale of the cops rendering very hard duty amidst of the Coronavirus scare.
Earlier, Akshay had donated about 1000 wrist bands to Mumbai Police which helps to detect COVID-19 symptoms.
The Kesari actor also donated Rs 25 crore to PM CARES Fund for fighting against the coronavirus. He has also been actively involved with the BMC in the fight against COVID-19 while lauding all the frontline workers.
