Hyderabad: A day after Kargil Vijay Diwas, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Bhuj: The Pride Of India, has released a moving poem titled Sipahi. Ajay's tribute to Indian bravehearts has moved his Suhaag co-star Akshay Kumar to tears.
In Bhuj: The Pride Of India, Ajay will be seen playing the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of Bhuj airbase during the 1971 war, which remained operational despite facing heavy bombing from Pakistan. Paying a heartfelt tribute to those who put the nation before themselves, on Tuesday, Ajay took to social media to shared a poem and wrote, "A heartfelt tribute to the Indian brave hearts! #Sipahi."

Ajay's poem has won accolades from Akshay who also shared the video on his social media handles. Praising Ajay's poetry, Akshay wrote, "I’m not very expressive when it comes to emotions in real life. But this got me in tears. @ajaydevgn, I didn’t know you have a brilliant poet in you. Kis Kis baat pe dil jeetoge yaar?"

Meanwhile, directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Bhuj: The Pride Of India has an ensemble cast comprising Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. The film has been written by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Raman Kumar, Ritesh Shah, and Pooja Bhavoria and is all set to release on August 13 on Disney+ Hotstar.
